Kurbaan Vs New York

I had seen the movie New York earlier and loved it. Then my friends saw Kurbaan and they became fan of it. I saw the movie later on just to see what was so great about it. Actually I never liked the songs so that movie never appealed to me. Finally one day I saw it and hated it. Maybe cause of my high expectations but I found nothing in that movie worth watching. New York on the other hand is an awesome movie story might not be so fresh but screenplay acting songs the actors make it worth the money, plus few scenes and dialogues in the movie are so touching you will never forget them. If you haven’t, go watch the movie now. Movies based on 9/11 are many but few only make it to the charts. One such movie is Khuda Ke liye I have no words to describe it. 9/11-jihad-muslims are all interlinked and shown so nicely. It is one of those movies which you shouldn’t miss. I am actually waiting for ‘My name is khan’ not for its story but for sharukh-kajol pair. Lets see how it goes.

Another movie in hype is Tum Mile. Watch it once but nothing so great about it. Songs are good as was expected story is also new but lacked something somewhere. Chemistry nil

Now I am back on track, seen every watch-able movie in theatres.

Firstly about satyam tatkaal booking.Here the best multiplex is always houseful getting tickets on the weekends is impossible. To watch a movie on Sunday we need to make sure that the tickets are booked on Tuesday midnight cause booking opens on Wednesday and is full in an hours time.

Avatar is one big blockbuster I never was able to get tickets for it. Finally I saw the movie when my account people got tickets booked under cooperate booking.There are friends of mine still wanting to watch it but no tickets.The movie is worth watching in 3D, the world looks so fascinating. Nothing new in the story but effects make it fabulous specially the second half.

Then comes New Moon, after Twilight I was dying to see that movie and reviews were horrible but I really really loved it.The most romantic novel the most handsome hero and very beautiful story.Next is Sherlock Holmes, awesome dialogues good movie worth a watch. 3 Idiots has already gathered so much attention, with Sonu Nigam and Shaan the songs are simply irresistible. About Ranbir Kapoor Ajab Prem ki Gajab Kahani, he looked so cute he is that new romantic hero in the industry but Rocket Singh was an okay movie. I watched so many movies so in turn I experimented with many theatre. The conclusion is not all movies are good not all theatres are worth but in all on a weekend its a movie a popcorn bucket that really matters.:-)

My blog-My life

My life is actually divided. The first half of the weekdays no actually the first 12-14 hours of my day are spent in office. I learn and grow not only my technical knowledge but also my human mentality knowledge. Funny part is I still repeat same mistakes. About my rest of the day I strengthen my compatibility skills with my roomys. And for the weekends I have regular stuffs to do like ironin washin shoppin at times cookin, as late nights on weekdays don't allow any of that.

So life is busy, need to find time or very important event to write blog for.

Technically Strong rather than not so technically strong

Ha Ha Ha.....Corporate world-I will survive

This particular blog post is to describe one particular event in office. Apart from my regular tasks I had an internal tool to develop with 2 of my colleagues. I had regular deadlines plus I had review comments from seniors to implement, still I managed my time pretty well. One day we stayed really late to make sure the tool is functionally complete. Next day few experienced people who had recently joined the project took control of the tool from us, saying its better we concentrate on our project tasks and tool will be done by technically strong people rather than not so technically strong. I felt hurt; after functionality is done cosmetic changes are no big deal. But then my colleague consoled me saying “at least you learnt”. I calmed down but I felt the credit was taken from us, the fresher’s by those. I heard them laughing at the fact that the file is manually uploaded not automatic for the execution of the project. “Why is the coding this way - ask these developers who developed the code”. I still bared it somehow. I left office early because I was done staying late hours and not getting credit for any, rather being asked why she didn’t come on weekends. Anyways the rumour goes those experienced people couldn’t set up the file which was to be uploaded only. Sirjee manually or automatically first create the file in the proper way. And the solution those people found out was to use INSERT INTO statement to insert file through back-end.

These new developers who are not so technically strong are better than youuuuuu
