New Phase of my life - Bangalore

For some Banglore is the city of lakes, for few it is Silicon Valley of India, city of night life but for me it is the place for my post graduation. This post is more like my diary entry for the day I came to Bengaluru city.

I had came to banglore only twice before and that to just for a day or two for interview or test so when I arrived with l my luggage on banglore city station it was a new city for me. As usual it was an eventful day. I came with my parents, we tried carrying luggage but then one of the coolies came and we agreed to let him take the luggage on the stairs. Now it began, first of all we noticed he was drunk and even when we tried to get his hands off our luggage he was being stubborn to carry it. Then he started walking in opposite direction to what others were walking, we were just wondering what’s going on when one of the bags that he was holding on top on his head went straight down on the railway track. We shouted at him but another guy helped him to get bag back on his head again. We were still shouting only when all our bags fell down, as the handle he was hold for support broke off, it was full chaos. Everyone started shouting at him even people around us; we were able to get his hands off all our luggage as he now got scared of so many people around. Now we see there is a subway lift to carry luggage hahaha, only if we would have seen it earlier. Somehow we got off the station got some okay types hotel and settled.

Then it was routine college stuff – registration – hostel allotment. Luckily I reached late for registration and got a double sharing executive room than a single room. One beautiful thing happened, I did not know who my partner would be, when I went to check my room I found a note by my would be roomy (who had checked out the room before) saying who she is and when she will be shifting. And thus I made my first friend in the college.

About College life I need not say much its very typical hostel life : we keep running for classes – even when hostels are so near we end up reaching late – food is edible – classes are good – specially the C professor is awesome – made many new friends – had senior interactions – even have classes at 10 at night – have music club, literary club, cycling trips, social service will try to make it for as many as possible .

I will say Banglore is the beginning of new era of my life, which has academics plus all other things I want to enjoy before its becomes too late.

Chennai

This post was supposed to be written way back, just never had nerves to say goodbye to the city where all started.Chennai is the city where my life was shaped, the two most important phases of my life started her.First time i left my parents abode to seek out my future I landed in chennai. At that time it was the AIEEE counselling that laid the path.Second time it was CTS my first cooperate world.
I still remember I was so damn tensed worried scared, to my mom I was the most confident person "I can survive anywhere" but truly I was apprehensive. It went really well, I made friends at the very instant I stepped in the college and then hostel helped me a lot.I had the best days of my life in that Sathyabhama hostel and the taste of freedom was delicious.Hostel life made me strong enough to survive and I was always guided, may be that is the reason I am scared of solitude.I made mistakes-learnt from them-some I corrected-some I am living with. The best was the way me and my mates used to conspire against our hostel rules,it was fun to break each and every one of it.
Then after long wait I got date of joining for CTS, once again I was the only one.But this time I already had my architect friend there and I knew the city very well so I was not worried but excited.CTS training was awesome I met people so pure at heart that friendship was not a question. We roamed on the beaches, went for movies, had module exams, had fun during classes, it was just like extended college days with no worries plus we were earning. After training we got different posting but we still remained in touch with occasional outings and I am very sure I made life long friends in ASV academy. The ooty trip will always be the most special trip with my buddies.
Whatever I write here is less I love beaches in chennai,I love murugan idli shop,I love satyam multiplex,I met great people there,I made best of relations there. That is one city where I will never be lonely ever.
Now I am going to a new place moving one step ahead on my career ladder.I am apprehensive again and I am very sure this will be another great leap in my life.I will always love chennai, it has the most beautiful memories for me.I will miss chennai till I am not back there :-)

Raavan

It is always said any hyped movie in bollywood is always a disaster, sometimes because you expect so much and other times it’s actually nothing. As Om saanthi Om falls in second category Raavan actually falls in first. I was in Chennai when the movie promos were out; I wanted to see it in Tamil as well as in Hindi. Lucky Vikram who plays both the roles, Ram as well as Raavan. But I quit Chennai before it was released and ended up watching only the Hindi version at home, that to when I had already got reviews from others.

Story – yes it’s a Mani Ratanam Ramayana inspired by Valmiki’s Ramayana. There was Ram Sita Laxman Raavan Supranakha Hanuman. Though there was no actual nose cutting but Laxman-Supranakha- Nose scene was there, Supranakha-liking-wrong guy was there, then Raavan-Sita-wooing was there, Laxman-almost-dead scene was there, Hanuman-Sita-Ram’s Informer scene was there, Hanuman-Raavan-Settling was there, Ram-doubting-Sita, Raavan-Ram fighting in air was there, and nicely it was timed to 14 days, in all it was Ramayana. The end was his own, still story wise it was a thumps up. No way like Mahabharata by Ekta Kapoor hehehehe.

Acting – Abhishek couldn’t pull the bad man role properly, his build also not at all adding to his character but in Tamil version where Vikram plays Raavan, he is awesome look wise as well as acting wise. Others are fine, it’s a Mani Ratanam movie he makes people act how much ever duffer they are. I guess if there was no Tamil version to compare from may be it wasn’t that big disaster for Abhishek, may be that it.

If I am not wrong it is shot in Kerala, nothing can beat the beauty of the location. About camera I am sorry but I hate it when camera moves a lot rapidly. In few scenes the camera is shaken a lot even it rotates and it gives me headache. Some people appreciate it, it adds to the emotions in the scene but I don’t like it. There is one particular scene when Ashwarya is falling down the cliff it is beautiful shown, but again its Mani Ratanam you remember Roja and Dil se right . I will say watch it once may be you will like it.

Channel V

The number of reality shows is touching the skyline in India. I remember initially it was fun to watch Indian Idol or saregamapa or boogie woogie, but these days every other show is a dance or music competition, its become boring with same judge politics and fake smses. If not these competition then they have come up with cooking challenge. To add to all the fun they lock up group of people in a farmhouse or something and capture them on cameras – Big boss or splitvilla are two of those kinds. I liked Roadies but with every successive season it’s become politics crap, rather than the challenges it was famous for.
I am not talking about these shows, if I do start talking about these my blog will be flooded plus I do not watch them to write much, I just want to mention few which I came across recently on V Channel. Initially they used to have a show where they will make two strangers go on a date and have few challenges for them, it was fun and in the end they decide weather they want to stick on or move on. Now they have modified it by making it gross, they insult people in that. As an add-on they have started this new thing of making people who chat online meet – Love Net. Firstly guys when you want to meet your orkut friend in person do you really want the whole world to see how much disappointed you are plus what is the problem with the parents or roommates, they let strange people in to their house and also allow them to go through a person’s personal stuff in his/her absence. These people show all that on national television YUCKKKKKKKKKKKKK. Then there was that Emotional Atayachar on Bindaas – Girls and Guys a fact- if Kareena/Hrithik seducesyour spouse you can’t actually expect them to take an autograph and say I am committed, those kinds of models only try to woe your partner in that show and you fall for that? I have a doubt weather they are people who get dumped or the viewers of the show get fooled here!! Now to top that V has come up with Axe ur Ex – If someone got ditched and wants to take a revenge then they can make their ex’s life hell for a day and give national TV humiliation as a gift to him/her. Sick! you people are out of their minds just because someone said something you humiliate a person on TV saying either you are doing loyalty test or teaching him\her a lesson for their past mistakes(And what you people are saints). When I haven’t yet seen the show but the popularity it has gained makes me write so much for it, imagine who and all these people are fooling just to get TRPs. If they actually do this stuff they make a person go to hell and then make him\her suffer there forever and if they have scripted shows then they are ditching their viewers for TRP. GREAT SONGS IS WHAT THE CHANNEL WAS FOR
One more U R Fired, people we understand you got job now where else that’s why you are on that crap show. You act stupid third class a**h***s to get fired, try getting actually fired from your acting also and sit at home, then we will see that smile that you flash on TV. Why the hell play with young minds. All these series are B*******. And I wrote this blog to reach out to people and tell them don’t ruin yourselves with this crap.
