Satyam Murugan Avatar

Chennai has two VIP places (pakka there are many more I know only about these two). To book a Ticket in satyam you should plan your weekend before Wednesday. It’s easier to get a ticket in tatkal then booking a weekend show in satyam, even morning 8 o clock shows are houseful. About the movie Avatar – it’s a huge success as everyone knows but the 3D in satyam is running houseful till now even on weekdays. That movie got released in Dec and till March you need an advance booking to watch that movie “Heights”.

And about Murugan Idli shop to eat the delicious south Indian food idli dosa sambhar vada toh you should have your breakfast at 7 and dinner at 7 or after 11 am/pm. This place has its branches even outside India it is very famous and always crowded even on weekdays. Man Chennai has these joints which are always full and few signals which make you feel India is over populated and maximum people are settled in South India.

Back to college

I had to get the rank certificate from my college so I made a trip back to the place where I had best times of my life. Actually my college is outside city limits so it took nicely one hour to reach there. And it’s a deemed university so as usual they made me go here and there for one small work. I did meet the staff specially those who were concerned with my certificate. Finally I got to talk with the person who seemed will get my work done, anyways I will know tomorrow only. When I entered the college I felt at ease I knew I will be safe, I felt I never had left. The best part is nothing has changed there. Till now it’s one of the most beautiful places I have seen. Till date when you enter the premises there are separate registers for girls and guys to sign. And still guys walk up and down the alley to sight girls, saying stupid things trying to catch their attention. Strange thing was, I saw laptops near IT Tower but till now talking on mobile is not acceptable inside college premises (i.e within authority visible limits). Even today when girls and guys are talking they walk n talk or behave as if they are talking to themselves or thin air. In all it is the same old college where someone has to keep an eye for the squads if a guy and girl are talking and as soon as warden starts her rounds the cell phones are hidden in places that can’t be said out loud.

Mrs Khanna

Can you believe it I liked the movie Main aur Mrs Khanna.First of all that movie was still there on my laptop, its been so long that movie was released and I normally don't waste my systems memory on movies...Secondly its a Salman Khan movie and Thirdly its a Kareena Kapoor movie.Me watching that movie itself was a miracle and me liking it is a wonder.I was alone on Sunday afternoon and so I played this movie cause boring movies put me to sleep, but the story of the movie is so related to the current scenarios that I just couldn't doze off.The guy says for a relationship to work out there are many more things required other than love plus being "practical" he decides to start off alone to establish himself. So true in this practical world nowadays relationships are based on this practical stuff only,'you should understand its for our own future'(I still think this is crap but how does what I think matters). But the twist comes here his wife the perfect Indian Lovely wife waits for him, somehow works a way for herself to survive in pardesh. And is waiting for him with same love and affection in the same place where he left her.
In this practical world relationships don't break cause you started liking someone else or you fall out of love but because the partners choose different roads and mostly these roads are perpendicular. What I liked about the positiveness in the movie is whatever road you take in the end its the love that wins. You can be practical you can be modern in the end you are a lover.

The Blue Mug

Ever heard of a 4 D puppet show, there is one and I missed it even when I knew about the schedule before the tickets were sent out. Anyone saw Musical Mamma Mia the movie, can you imagine its theater performance by the Abba group itself. All these I wanted to go, but couldn’t make it. Finally The Blue Mug –Director Atul Kumar Production- The Company Theatre, Mumbai Performed and Devised By: Rajat Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey, Sheeba Chadha, Konkona Sen Sharma and Munish Bhardawaj. The names were so tempting it was hard to resist, I got tickets through a friend and you will not believe there were very few tickets left. Pay attention here its Chennai and it’s a Saturday evening (where the whole city will either be in a beach or a Mall or the great Sathyam) but still there are no tickets in Music Academy for a Hindi drama. Nice. I got the last few tickets and reached there in time to get centre seats. See it is like you don’t have any seat numbers, so on first come first served basis you get seat for yourself, the other way is to get those 1000 bucks tickets to get front rows but we reached in time to get centre balcony seats- good view and not near to speakers also. The show began and frankly speaking I was waiting for a story I expected a smooth drama with a moral. One by one each came and told an extract about their life I thought now the story will come now it will come but it continued. It was a play were everyone was describing one story of their life how they felt what they reacted. And the strangest thing was in those partially humorous partially serious partially ridiculous stories I could visualize myself. There was this part by vinay pathak where he says a poem telling there was a time he used to read millions of poems stories he used to remember those poems also not a single writer he had left but now even if he starts a book he somehow reads only few 15 pages and let it go – so very true for me. Another part about joint families by rajat kapoor, how those people spend all festivals and even non festival days together matched to a friend of mine who had accompanied me to the theatre. It was a beautiful play with awesome performance and lightings but surely what made it special is how it connected somewhere with our lives. And the blast was when in the end while leaving the Music Academy, when me and my friend went back in to attend nature’s call while our way out we saw the huge crowd around the artists and there they were I saw Konkane Sen, Vinay Pathak, Rajat Kapoor, Ranbir Shorey right in front of me. We did try to take snaps took few also but incompatibility with new phone, lack of flash and excitement stood in our paths to final happiness. It was an awesome experience and definitely I am not gonna miss any opportunity related to these theatre performances here on.

What Nobody Ever Told You

Finally I finished a novel after really long time. Ignoring the fact that it was 160 pages only, the name goes ‘What nobody ever told you’ by GaneshKumar. I never heard about it neither was it in news or popular in my friends, I just went to landmark was attracted by the title and something of it being a Second Edition print compelled me to buy it. I had recently finished all my exams and was reading ‘Devil wears parada’ I had plans to go home so I decided to read this new small novel on the way after my current book. I actually didn’t finish my current book moreover I just kept it at home and came. I got a magazine also in train ‘Frozen Thoughts’ (which I am dying to read since I heard about it). I read nothing in train not a single page or an article also. Anyways finally I was back in Chennai and as my project was over I had optimum free time. Tried to sleep a lot but can’t sleep so much. Tried to watch movies but multiplexes here are over booked and laptop is really boring. Was already bored of shopping so tried to summa roam around but too sunny for it. Finally settled for novel and as recently I m not reading novels at my regular pace I started with the smallest I had. This novel is not a story book neither is it a moral book it doesn’t promise to change your thinking it won’t guide you to a positive approach- It is a book to tell you people think differently. It has 12 small chapters each related to our everyday things like credit cards girlfriends chain forwards cricket smoking-attractive na.You will learn nothing from it but you might start seeing things differently. Frankly people I m very pessimistic person but somewhere in my head something was triggered after I finished the book I realized everything everyone around is not negative, not everything happens for my discomfort. I kept cribbing cause someone sometime told God didn’t give you this cause he reserved something better than this for you and I haven’t got anything better till now, but truly the not so better things according to me are best things in someone else’s eyes –this I realized only after reading this book. Funny part is nowhere in the book it says this I just realized it feels like the mind window opened- thinking out of the box. My suggestion would be read it once may be you actually like one of the Kuttappan’s strange ideas.

I want to quote something from the book here (not word by word but the gist) –

Past cannot be changed: Is it

A particular day I have great day in office I get incentive news and all. You ask me how was your day, my reply - Thank god I joined this company such an awesome company I m having great time.

Another day I had horrible time in office my boss doesn’t approve my leave. You ask me how was your day, my reply – Why the hell I joined this company so far from my house can’t even go home.

So can you change your past?????

You think about that I am going to read Frozen thoughts
