Co-operate journey

Hmmm as I in my account farewell I said- I came to cooperate world decided I should study and now leaving. I still remember the days I was waiting for joining, horrible days just wanted joining date somehow bas bola le company wale, I was placed in jun 07 finished col in apr 08 and got call only in mar 09. I had eventful academy training. I had the best as well as the worst time in ma life in academy. People say you don’t make friends in cooperate world and it is so damn true but I made really good friends in College to Cooperate transition. I got closer to my school and college friends as well as made really good friends in DN007. And I know those people will stay with me for as long as possible. Okay now about the actual cooperate world, as usual for no choice of my own – I was trained in dot net and then put in an account that dealt with PeopleSoft CRM. It’s so normal in these companies, in such a big organization they cannot understand everyone’s interests’ right plus they have to assign us any where for any technology: it’s recession time. Whatever crap? But initially we are so enthusiastic to learn we accept all challenges and perform our best without knowing the fact no one bothers about the caliber. When you join company fresh after college it is more of luck that defines your career. Not only me I know so many people who didn’t get a chance to prove themselves or even show what they can do. I know good coders put in support project, not even support and maintenance it is only support. And their careers are set that way even when they shift companies they have to stick to support, only escape go for studies. Best was when I was testing, we have job rotation here development testing we keep people shifting here. The big shots in the project are so damn busy that they forget their decisions affect people. I will say even when you assign the most hated work to a trainee they are ready to work for it with full interest but sometime you need to value them and their interests otherwise they won’t value you neither will they work with any efficiency. The life I had played such a great role in my Gate preparation. I scored 1.6 percentile more than last year, when I was at home and the fact stands that last yr 40 k ppl gave the exam and this year it crossed 2 lakh candidates. My cooperate journey was not a total disaster I learnt lot I had good time of trying my best not to be myself. If you keep your eyes open you earn a lot from other people’s actions. In the end I was like- get me out of here and my account manager did help me out in that 
